CLOVIS, NM – The Clovis Police Department is seeking an individual in connection to an early Tuesday shooting incident that left one person injured. According to police, on Tuesday, Aug. 22 at about 1:06 a.m., Clovis officers were dispatched to the area of the 800 block of Sheldon in reference to a person being shot. Upon their arrival, officers found Loydale Kirven, 52, suffering from a gunshot wound to the leg. Officers administered emergency first aid, including a tourniquet to Kirven's leg. He was taken to the hospital for advanced medical care.
